Politico: GOP tries again to end TARP

Senate Republicans plan to revive an amendment that would end the Troubled Asset Relief Program by the end of the year.

Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) will try to attach an amendment, likely to a spending bill, that would end the program by its original sunset date, Dec. 31.
