Senator John Thune has launched a new blog featuring the latest news and developments in the Supreme Court confirmation process of Judge Sonia Sotomayor, nominated by President Barack Obama to replace Justice David Souter on the U.S. Supreme Court. “Our Supreme Court Watch blog is intended to keep South Dakotans informed on the latest news in this very important nomination process,” said Senator Thune. “We will continue to update this blog as the U.S. Senate considers the nomination of Judge Sotomayor to the U.S. Supreme Court.” Senator Thune has issued a statement on the President’s nomination of Judge Sotomayor that is available on the site’s home page.
