Please join me for a live, interactive video townhall at 4pm CST on Monday, January 18th.
Congress will be back in session next week, and I am excited about this opportunity to use the latest technology to discuss the issues with you, hear your concerns and answer questions. You’ll be able to ask questions using our chat feature, and I will answer them live on our video webcast.
A few of my top priorities this year will be:
- Supporting our men and women fighting overseas to protect our country.
- Keeping up the struggle to defeat the President’s health care bill that will result in massive federal spending, tax increases, Medicare cuts, burdensome new costs to state governments and higher insurance premiums.
- Continuing to fight for passage of my Government Ownership Exit Plan bill to stop the bailouts and end government ownership of private companies.
- Working to keep the terrorist detention facility at Guantanamo open. It is a perfect place to try suspected terrorists outside our borders using military commissions – not our civil courts in the U.S.
- Advocating comprehensive budget and spending reform to rein in out-of-control federal spending and borrowing.
I look forward to hearing from you about the issues you believe are most important and to discussing potential solutions to many of the problems facing our country. Please RSVP by clicking here to let us know you will participate.
Thank you for your support.
